The Organising Scientific Committee of the 34th International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC 2026) invites you to submit an abstract for consideration.

All abstracts will undergo peer review and may be selected for oral or poster presentation. The highest scoring abstracts will be published in the ISAC journal, Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR).

Rules for Submission

• Submit via the official website [Link to follow]
• Original, unpublished work only
• Types accepted: original research, case studies, reviews
• Only presenting author may submit
• Max 250 words (excluding title/authors/affiliations)
• Results or data are required; one figure or table allowed
• Abstracts without results or stating “results will be presented” will not be accepted
• No references; no grammar/spelling errors
• Abbreviations spelled out on first use
• English only

Abstract Format

• Font: Arial, size 10, single spacing
• Subheadings: Aim, Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
• Title: Bold, all caps, centred
• Authors: Initials + full family name, capitalised, centred, with superscripts for affiliations
• Affiliations: Italicised, centred, separate lines
• Text: Justified alignment, no paragraph indentations
• Filename: Author Names – Abstract Title
• Abstracts not following this format will not be reviewed
